1 Back up your BPT-RTI Employer data |

- Open HMRC Basic PAYE Tool - RTI.
- Process all employees pay data up to the current pay period.
- Under the Menu section of the Welcome screen of BPT-RTI tool, click on 'Back up your data' link to back up your employer data.
- Browse select a location for the zip file and save.

2 Upload Saved BPT-RTI Zip file |

- Browse select the above saved backed up zip file (Do not alter the zip file).
- Wait until the upload is complete.
- Select the correct Employer name from the drop down for which the employee data has to be extracted.
- Click on 'Download CSV File' to save the extracted employee CSV file to your local system.
- Verify the CSV file and update/enter data if need be.

- Click on menu 'Others->Import Data' then 'Employee Data' link to upload extracted Employee CSV file and follow the steps there on.
