Option 1 : Having Outstanding Payment for Leaver Mr. Redford, Robert

  This option means there are  outstanding payments to be paid  to or deductions to be made  from  this leaver. The leaver may belong to current tax year or immediate past tax year employee. Outstanding payments and deductions could include, the basis pay, redundancy payments, holiday payments, bonuses, student loan deductions, pension, AEO etc, etc. They should all be processed before you issue the P45.  Please complete the payment data in the following page.

Option 2 : No Outstanding Payment for Leaver Mr. Redford, Robert

 

You may choose this option if the company has no outstanding payment to pay to  this leaver. 
The leaver may belong to current tax year or previous tax year. What you need to do to complete this type of leaver P45 process is providing us with the LEAVING DATE that is all.

Just for your information, for current tax year leaver whose P45 data will file within the FPS file whereas for  the previous tax year leaver whose data will be filed in a Earlier Year Update file.
